Thank you to Alan, Tony and the Fan Club
We had been to many concerts since way back in 1990 and didn't really find out about the preferred seating until about 4-5 years ago. We would sit way out or way up in the stands and our kids couldn't see Alan very well. Or we would have to go to ebay and spend a fortune to get close seats. Since we discovered the platinum fan club we have been consistently in the 6-8th row, never further back than 10th! We thought we were spoiled! My neighbors are always asking me how we get such good seats. I tell them about the benefit of being a preferred fan club member and how Alan's organization reserves these seats for us at most concerts. Now this year is even better. For the last few shows we have gotten 2nd and 3rd row seats to shows: in South Carolina, Daytona, San Diego, and Bristow Va so far. We just got back from the show in Daytona and it was incredible. We were front and center in the 3rd row. My kids could see everything. It was perfect! Talk about spoiled. I thought the last 4 years were great but this is even better. I know there are sometimes issues with some venues that won't let you fax in (I wish they all would, but this is the venue's choice, not Alan's), or start a lottery at the last minute for fan club seats (we had this happen in Atlantic City and went from 5th row to 10th), but folks, even 10th row seats are really great! I think about watching Alan from the "cheap" seats at the Delaware state fair when my kids couldn't even see him at all and compare it to now. It is unbeatable. I do not know if other performers offer this "perk" to their fans, but for us it is truly a blessing and fantastic reason to be an Alan Jackson platinum fan club member. (We actually have two memberships now as there are 5 of us and we sometimes bring my mother-in-law or a friend). Please Please Please continue to support Alan's organization and let's work together to keep this benefit of preferred seating alive for a long, long time.
Forever (14 years and counting) Alan fans,
Hope, Paul, Chris, Matthew, and Rachel Rothrock
